Our group was featured in the Landcare Victoria 40th Anniversary online magazine. The article is a worthy acknowledgement of the countless hours of volunteer work that has gone into the group and natural places around Woodend over many years.
If there is one thing that sits at the heart of the Woodend Landcare group, it is not a single project or planting day, but a commitment that has quietly endured for more than three decades.
Woodend Landcare Committee
A new Woodend Landcare committee was sworn in at our AGM on 10/8/2025. The new committee consists of 8 members:
- President – Nicole Middleton
- Vice President – Peter Yates
- Operations Manager – David Gossip
- Treasurer – Jessica Parker
- Secretary (Compliance) – Anthea Ryall
- Secretary (Memberships) – Michael Sutton
- Secretary (Communications) – vacant (Individual tasks being undertaken by various members, see below)
- Secretary (Meetings) – Sarah Frankland
- Grants Coordinator – Nicole Middleton/Michael Sutton
- Equipment Coordinator – Mark Horner
